About us

When Shanna began working for us, we immediately saw a leap forward in productivity.  When we asked her how she was able to perform tasks so quickly, she replied simply, "That's what I do!"

Shanna has made our lives easier. We've developed confidence in turning tasks over to her because we know she will handle them professionally. She is easy to communicate with and very friendly.

Her ability to get the job done efficiently and effectively allows us to spend time elsewhere with our business and family. We love having Shanna on our team and we highly recommend her- with only one hesitation- we want to keep her all to ourselves!

What is a Virtual Assistant?

A Virtual Assistant (VA) is the ideal solution for small to medium sized businesses, home-based businesses, working professionals, and entrepreneurs with traditional and non-traditional work environments.

A VA is a self-employed entrepreneur providing professional assistance to individuals and businesses. VA's are generally proficient in office, administration, and organizational skills with general to highly specialized abilities. They work off-site from a personal office and communicate via phone, fax, e-mail and the internet. Depending on location, they may also provide local office visits and face to face consultations.

Why hire a VA?

Traditionally, an employee is managed and directed by an employer or supervisor. They are paid an hourly wage or by salary with taxes deducted and paid by the employer. Work is directed and managed by the employer. Work schedules are typically part-time or full-time (20-40+ hours per week) regardless of actual work load. According to statistics by the US Chamber of Commerce, a full-time employee can cost a business 2 - 2.5 times the employee's actual paycheck.

A temp is employed by a staffing agency and works for the employer (agency's customer) at the employer's business. Work and activities are managed, directed and supervised by the employer, while paid by the agency. The staffing agency charges the employer a fee which covers the temp's salary, taxes and benefits as well as the agency's cost of operation. Work schedues can be from 1 hour to 40+ hours per week. cost per hour to hire a temp is close to double the cost per hour of an employee.

A virtual assistant is an independent contractor, not an employee. They have flexible work schedules and are only paid for actual time worked and supplies used. Working with a VA eliminates the expenses of office space, equipment, supplies and the costs of hiring employees (taxes, benefits, training, etc.). In essence, a VA becomes a 'partner' in your success!
